Rescued my Zero outfit today. It needs a lot of mending but hey, whatever, it's okay enough for today. I don't often wear it now. When I made it it was before the anime existed, but ever since there was the anime, lots of people do this cosplay and they just buy their costumes off eBay. I've seen the eBay ones in person and they're quite... not good, but from afar it's hard to tell the difference. So when I wear mine it feels rather like "this must have come from eBay" and that makes me a bit miffed. But hey, I have the Bloody Rose. And nice rose buttons. And stuff.

The highlight of the day was this conversation:

Someone not cosplaying: I'm feeling a bit cold.
Grell cosplayer: Oh, put on a tampon!
[silence]
Grell: fhskjdfhlskafaslh I TOLD YOU I'M INSANE.

[edit] I bought grey corduroy fabric today. This is very strange because I normally have an intense hatred for corduroy (blame my childhood). But somehow I think a uglydoll-esque Torgal would look really cute if he's mainly corduroy. XD/
