Yeah. I'm not really sure what to do. To get plane tickets whatever I try I need to try soon. >_> A part of me is tempted to just go ahead anyway but though I could make up the rest of the money for plane tickets I think I would then run into trouble with accomodation and food. Which would suck. XD;;;

I don't really know. I kind of doubt it what with the fact that he moved house recently and is quite probably not earning as much money as he used to.

Accomodation we might be able to do something about (not sure how far genkischuldich's offer stretch - she offered it to me while I was asking who else wanna go... but I'd rather not impose myself XD;), but it'd totally suck if you haven't got enough spending money there! Food isn't expensive but you'll wanna shop XD

But ya, timing is important. The later this is left, the more expensive the plane tickets, too XD;;;; Dunno what to do~

I'm trying to get a part time job. If I succeed all will be well but if I fail I'll be kind of stuck. (and I'm liable to fail, given my lack of experience at job-hunting.)

A couple of other people mentioned that they would give me money but I have absolutely no idea how much they meant.

This might sound stupid, but have you looked on http://www.gumtree.com/ ? That's how I found the place I'm in now (granted, the landlords are bordering on neurotic, but hey, you can't win every time ;p)

Up to £600, I think, though that's pushing it and the cheaper the better. But at the same time I'd die before I go into bedsit or flatshare, which makes it just... impossible to get any place decent -_-"

Yeah, I know what you mean there, I tried to find a studio/1 room place and failed (but then again, I had to move out in a couple of days, so.. didn't really have time to look either). It's hard sharing a house with people, but if it's only for a few months... wouldn't it be worth the money saved? (also, in most places I visited/my friends live in, it's easier to just spend a couple of months in a place if it's just a room you're renting..) Not really helpful I know, I'll shut up now :/
