pezHow difficult could it be to buy some feathers?
I found plenty of American sites that sell the sort of feathers I want, by the pound and affordably, but nothing in UK or on eBay. UK shops seem to sell 1 or 2 or 5 feathers (and charge you like £8) at a time when I want like, 2 lbs or more of it because I'm making 3 pairs of wings. I do realise UK is tiny compared with USA and they might have more turkeys and ducks over there, but what the hell?

So, if buying it through America is a lot cheaper and you can buy them by the pound, even with the customs fee, shouldn't it be more affordable than UK prices?

Here in Portugal, a friend of mine who makes costumes was facing the same dilemma of getting feathers.
May I inquire which costume? Or is it just a wing fetish?

When do you intend wearing it?
I'm also going to ask my makeup teacher if she has any ideas on where to get feathers here in Portugal for props and things, and if I can find anything I don't mind buying it and shipping it to you.
