For Friday: [livejournal.com profile] quatorze, this is what Liverpool Street Station looks like. When you get off the Stansted Express, let's meet under that big departure board - not on the bridge, at ground level. Just look for 5'4" Chinese girl with funny hair colour (it's brown/purple right now, but the purple's coming off so I might re-dye it something else) Do you know what time your train is going to be?

I went to bed at 10:30 last night and woke at 7:30. By my standards, I have slept too much. I'm disorientated as fuck right now, as if I've popped some effexxor. So don't expect coherence from me today.

Has anyone in UK noticed the recent explosion of DHL usage here? I think Parcel Force and Fed Ex etc were more popular here, but now the DHL yellow vans are everywhere. My Amazon.co.jp's orders are also arriving by DHL. Which is good because I'm never home to get things but their depot isn't far from home ^^" And they actually have CUSTOMER SERVICE so I don't have to deal with shitty Parcel Force anymore.

[livejournal.com profile] yamete_yamato suffered teeth-related drama last night. >_> He's so funny when he's dramatic. ^^"

Place - agreed! As to the time... well, the SExpress takes about 45 minutes and seems to leave from Stansted every 15 minutes starting at 06:00, but I don't think I'll be catching the very first one, just to show some mercy to you :p

It might be an idea to agree on an approximate time, and exchange mobile phone numbers (though in a f-locked post) so I could send you a text message when I know for certain which train I'm on?

And you should be looking for somebody who's 5'5" and, well, large - with a dark purple/violet hair. With glasses, and eartails most probably tucked behind the ears.

*grin* I might keep the eartails visible to assist in identification... alas, I'm not nearly as pretty as he is! ~_^

I find the magic trick with Parcelforce is to watch their tracking site like a hawk and to be home, if possible, on the day they receive the parcel in the local depot as this is almost invariably the first delivery date. After that, the easiest thing is to get them to redeliver to a local post office!

I wish Parcel Force would just go bankrupt and die or something -_-

The thing I love about DHL is, they speak on the phone nicely and find the info I want quickly. Also, because my front door doesn't have an opening for mail, if nobody in the block is there to answer then they can't even leave a "sorry we missed you" card. DHL ran into that problem and actually sent me a letter, via 1st class post, telling me this and that I should go collect the parcel at the depot. If it's Parcel Force? Pah! Bad luck for you, they'll hold it without telling you it ever was there, and then send it back to Japan after a while -_-"""

I've got quite a good relationship with the local parcelforce driver now so that probably helps! This means I know that the depot staff never log in parcels received on Sunday night as being out for delivery on Monday but if I give them a call first thing Monday morning they will check with the driver he'll make sure I have it before 12! I've started to wonder if there's only one plane out of Korea per week because everything I ever order from there arrives on a Monday.

As to the hairdye, you should be able to get this easily in London - they don't sell in Chippenham, obviously. LaRiche's Directions (http://www.lariche-directions.com/index.htm). (Actually it's best for warm colour!) It's 'creme hair dye' too, so not as damaging. If you put it on, cleanfilm over it for about hour, and like... blowdry it over the cleanfilm, that should heat-activate it enough!

I've seen those at Camden! But don't think I'll be able to go there before next weekend :(

Yesterday I was looking up hairdye and found out that, to get silvery grey hair, all you need is bleach it to yellow and then use those old ladies' hairdyes that makes hair gray not yellow! But, although they seem to sell those dyes in US, I don't think I've ever seen any here :(

Yes, it's a Clairol brand that's most recommended, isn't it? I think. I know they used to sell them everywhere, and then they were all reduced a few years ago... DDDD: this kind of thing makes you kick yourself for not buying it, I think! >:

Omg maybe you'll find cooler hairdye in Japan! ;D

What on earth has Yamato been posting about? Admittedly quite a lot of the pages I've tried to check on LJ have been cut off part way down by the library's prohibited content filter but his won't show up at all. *amused* XD

his post said: "OW OH GOD. HOLY SHIT FUCK. OH MY GOD FUCK FUCK OW LIKE, NO OH MY GOD. OWWWWWW."

XD;;; and then there were about 35 comments because it was 9pm and Yamato was suffering from wisdom teeth pain and couldn't get to dentist until the next morning XD;;;;
