Just now.

The crown on one of my teeth fell off.

When I was eating.

*chew chew* *hey what's this hard thing?* *spits it out* *O_O wtf?*

What remains is a tooth that has been so worn and chiseled away by the dentist that there is barely anything there. It's a funny shape and quite sharp. I hope I won't cut my tongue on it when sleeping. How the tooth became like this is a long story (basically a botched dentist job from a few years ago) I wonder if I should just get it pulled out finally. I have dental insurance, it's just finding a dentist and finding the time to go that's the problem... anything medical in this country is such a mystery to me.

I've... rinsed the crown and put it in my coins bag >_> because I don't know if a future dentist would need to see it or not (unlikely). Maybe it could just be stuck back on or something.

Still, I'm hyper. Weekends! Weekends! Who cares about a broken tooth when you have happy weekends? *rabu rabus you all*

My sister once pulled a gold crown off her tooth by eating a candy bar. I'm pretty sure the dentist put the same crown back on. It wouldn't hurt for you to save the one, just in case.

I have a couple replacement teeth. The original ones are long gone. If you do get this one pulled, you might want to consider replacing it with a fake tooth. I think it's easier on your gums that way.

Good luck!

Ah, that's happened to me twice before. Something like than can get incredibly sore, and also infected, so I'd get it seen to as soon as you can. Most dentists will give you an emergency appointment if you big up the pain you're in, and I do think it's important that you get it seen to. What mine did was do a temporary job to make sure there weren't any jagged edges, and then made a later appointment to remove the tooth. It was the same as yours - hardly anything left - because of repeated fillings on it. So yes, you have my sympathy, because if the nerve is exposed, it can start to hurt like a bitch. Also, I really don't think you'll need to keep the crown. I imagine they'd give you another one.

(Also, I'm sorry to say that I don't think I'm going to be able to take the Kazuki magazine. I angsted over it for a few days, but that amount of money right now is a lot to me, so I think I'm going to have to leave it, especially given that I want Arena Act 11 with the burning passion of a thousand suns. *____* So yeah, I'm sorry. :S I hope you're able to sell it.)

I once actually shattered a tooth eating a burger. 'Cause there was a chip of bone in it and... O.O that was right before my five or whatever years of being vegetarian, wonder why. *coughs*

It doesn't hurt right now, but it used to hurt bad just before I got it fixed about 2 years ago (fixing for the 3rd time, that was =_=). I think I just want to get rid of it finally, it's been a nuisance for years. I just... need to find a dentist =_=

Oh don't worry about it, honestly! The mag is probably more value for money for the general Myu fan but not for the Kazuki fan, so I think it's wise of you to save your money for the other books! In any case, I'll be scanning my copy tonight or tomorrow, so you can oogle at the scans instead ^^

I guess if the bone wasn't removed properly before the meat was minced. Or something. O.o It WAS food from a school cafeteria, anything can happen really. XD;;
