Japan in August

So.

I'm super tempted to go watch the Glay + Himuro Kyosuke concert and the new Tenimyu, both in the beginning of August.

The tickets... will get them, somehow. Either ask people to help buy them or bid on YJA.

.......I can't think of anyone crazy enough to want to go with me. It will be spending a lot of money (£600-800 air tickets + entrance tickets to the events + accomodation and other spending). I can't think of anyone who'd want to do this with me. But what fun is concert and fangirling if I do it alone? T___T

BUT I WANT TO GO SO BADLY. Please please please someone tell me you want to go and you can totally afford it and have the time and let's go together~ *sob*

Going to Tenimyu! I warn you, that I'm very unlucky at the Loppi machines and never got any tickets in either the sales or the presales. And it was only last time that a friend gave me a presale code by chance -- I don't think I'll have one this time. So, I got a ticket off Yahoo!Japan for an insane amount. I'm buying before the regular sales this time, before loads of people realise that they aren't getting tickets. But, with the new cast, I might stand a better chance.

Sure, prod me when/if you decide!

I just thought really hard about it and looked at flight prices online (ouch) and my decision is YES, I'll go, price no object! Just to confirm first, you're going to see the Tokyo performance, yes?

The Glay concert is 5th and 6th August which falls between the Tokyo performance dates, so when you get Tenimyu ticket, please help me get one as well, it doesn't matter which performance it is. If it's needed, I can repay you with PayPal or concealed cash once you know how much the ticket will cost.

Accomodation-wise, I'll worry about it once I have all the performance tickets and air-tickets ready. Worse comes to worst, ryokans aren't actually that bad.

On a different note... would it be possible for you to try to help me get a GLAY ticket? (http://www.glay.co.jp/cgi-bin/free/information/details.cgi?id=298). It'd be really really great if you can, but if you can't then I'll bid for one online so that's not a big problem either ^^

Yes, Tokyo performance, either Tuesday or Wednesday. But PLEASE
PLEASE don't rely on me being able to get tickets. Of course I'll try to get you a ticket on the sales day, but there's no guarantee and I'll feel terrible if you buy a plane ticket and I can't get tickets. If they ARE putting names on them, then I probably can't go (if the regular sales don't work out for me). I don't look Japanese at all...

I meant you could sleep in my spare room, but it's okay if you prefer a ryokan. :)

As for Glay, I could try, but you might be better off getting one yourself. Since Glay are pretty popular, they may go quickly and I'll be in work at that time on that day.

Yeah, I'll wait until later to buy the plane tickets... even if I end up having to bid for the tenimyu tickets, I won't buy the plane tickets until I've won an auction.

Well, I do live outside Tokyo -- but only 47mins outside Tokyo! If you're looking for something cheap to conpensate for the potential ticket price, it's not a bad deal. :)
