*arches eyebrow*
Jun. 7th, 2006 11:41 amCoworker forwarded email around the office with a video, which shows someone tripping themselves and falling over while on a TV talent show that looks a bit like the X-Factor. The video is a looped-gif actually, so he's repeatedly falling over.
I wrote back (reply all) and said "Why was I sent this? Is there a funny joke I'm missing?"
And the guy was stupid enough to come over to my desk and ask if I have problems seeing the video.
So I replied "what is it about people tripping over and hurting themselves that is funny enough for you to think it's worth forwarding to the whole office?"
He looked at me and said "oh but [so-and-so] found it funny too."
I stared at him blankly. He walked away, probably thinking he's still da funniest dude in da world.
No wonder I've always had such a low opinion of this person. Maybe he won't see my point until I somehow find and make a looped-video of his wife falling down and smashing her head on the floor repeatedly, and send it to everyone.
