The mind boggles when, on the one hand, there are doctors fighting parents in court, with the doc saying the baby should be allowed to die because its quality of life is too poor, whilst the parents want everything possible done to keep the baby alive and on the other hand, there are people with disabling, incurable diseases fighting in court for the right to receive euthanasia and losing, eventually having to travel to foreign land where it is legal, just so that they can die peacefully and in a dignified manner.
(Yes Pez does notice that was one very long sentence. She fails at structure.)

A nursery in Oxfordshire has changed the nursery rhyme from "Baa Baa Black Sheep" to "Baa Baa Rainbow Sheep" because of, you've guessed it, political correctness. What they fail to see is that 1) there is nothing bad sung in the song about the black sheep, it was just giving wool to people. Changing the song suggests being black is a bad thing and that is what's insulting and 2) rainbow has always been used as a symbol to gay freedom, and if they think black sheep was insulting black people, would rainbow sheep not insult homosexuals?
Pez suggests that they change it to "Baa Baa Good Sheep" (since it gave wool to the master, the dame and the little boy, suggesting it is fair and good natured) or "Baa Baa Sheepy Sheep" (just because).

Last month, a teenager in Kent was charged with a fine when heard by police officer to have used the word "fuck" when speaking with his friend on the street, because under our dear Tony, swearing is considered anti-social behaviour. Now Pez wonders how much Gordon Ramsey should be fined - perhaps the number of "fuck" said multiplied by the number of viewer of his TV show, Pez suggests.

Pictures of Jenson Button is the only reason why Pez would read the sports pages in a newspaper. He makes her little fangirl heart flutter. She will be glued to the telly to watch the first race of this F1 season this weekend.

A man was handed 2 pieces of junk mail by the postman as he left home. He looked at it and thrown it into the bin on the street. 2 weeks later, he was given a fixed penalty of £50 because "street bins are not for domestic refuse". It's the same fine if he threw the junk mail on the ground. Apart from the obvious "WTF", the question that has got to be asked is "did someone see him and report him to the council, or was there a council worker going through street bins?".
Also, can junk mail companies be fined for sending what Pez considers as "industrial waste" to people's homes?

Of course, the South Dakota abortion ban, aka "in which a state demonstrates that it is run by morons".
FRED DE SAM LAZARO: Napoli says most abortions are performed for what he calls "convenience." He insists that exceptions can be made for rape or incest under the provision that protects the mother's life. I asked him for a scenario in which an exception may be invoked.
BILL NAPOLI: A real-life description to me would be a rape victim, brutally raped, savaged. The girl was a virgin. She was religious. She planned on saving her virginity until she was married. She was brutalized and raped, sodomized as bad as you can possibly make it, and is impregnated. I mean, that girl could be so messed up, physically and psychologically, that carrying that child could very well threaten her life.
Reality check: any sort of rape, be it brutal or not and regardless of the victim's age, sexual history or religion, can traumatise the victim physically and psychologically.
If abortion is ruled out unless the mother's life is endangered, meaning eg a rape victim will be forced to carry a child if the pregnancy does not harm her and she does not go insane from it, what of the possibility of the (idiot) father trying to claim access later on? And trauma is still trauma, it can be more disabling than any physical injuries, even if a woman does not lose her mind. Can she truly love the child when it arrives in the world? (and I will not go into the possibility of the child growing up to have the spitting image of its father)
