Gaming and ficcing

Aggro mobs in L2 aren't labelled like they are in EQ2. THERE WERE ORCS CHASING MY ELF BOY (whose name is Akaya 8D) BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW THEY WERE AGGRO. MY BOY WAS SO SCARED.

Thought L2 was really cool to have MSN messenger inside the game, but it turns out for the sake of "customer satisfaction", the game company keeps a record of MSN chat done inside the game. Like, what?!?! *facepalms* No, thank you.

They also censor bad words so that motherfucker become mother-_-er, stupd bitch becomes stupid -_- and YAY GAY becomes YAY -_-

Do NOT ask me why the word gay is classified as bad. Maybe because kids use it to insult. But I love it how they replace it with -_-

BUT, I tried saying arsehole! and they didn't censor that. I WIN.

On the fanfiction front, the last chapter has been written but somehow I keep thinking it's a bit weak. Maybe staying up till 5am writing it is the reason. (strange though, I don't feel tired right now >_>) I can post the next chapter though... maybe tomorrow evening? To keep the flow going! ^^ Will spend some time to edit the final chapter tomorrow.

Waiting for bath. After that, no matter how awake I feel, BED TIME.

I experienced immense relief when I played EQ2 over new years (in one of my two anual sessions ;) ) and realised that sneak was working properly again. Over the summer, I spend a lot of time sneaking around and then getting mauled by evil agro bears of doom who could, for no good reason, see me. Much time spent running across the landscape screaming "oh shit, I'm going to die!" and "oh no, not again..."
