So exactly WTF is FF: Advent Children? I've never played FF7 before, do I need to before I know what the hell you guys are all on about??? O_o

Film set post FF7 ending. 8D I've never played it either, and I'm debating as to whether to watch it or not tonight, since it's finished downloading.

Btw, do you get off work early tomorrow at all? :O Will be in town for a bit, but need to go home before like, 7, so. :/

It's a fantastic and stunning and gorgeously animated movie. If you were at all disappointed with Spirits Within then this more than makes up for it.

On the official home pages for the movie there are 3 chapters of backstory and 'tween story that links up the events of the game to the movie.

i'm the last person to ask for actual info, since i kinda loathe the FF series, but basically i'd suggest watching it because the CGI is just stunning. when the first ads came out a few years ago it was awhile before anyone even realized they weren't real people. plus, good seiyuu. sadly Miki was supposed to be in it, but's not anymore.
