His gaze followed the boy jogging around the court. His jaws tight, lips pressed together into a hard line, he was totally in control, like everyone expected him to be. But if anyone had dared to look closer, they would have noticed that expression grew softer with each lap the other boy ran. The eyes behind the glasses were not as narrow, and they were not aware of anything that was going on around him. He was completely focused on the figure that was getting closer and closer to him, finally stopping within arm's reach.

"Twenty laps, done!" The boy said, catching his breath. He looked behind him, ready to get back to practice, but the others were already packing up to go home. Then he heard his name.

He turned around again, and noticed how the other boy was staring at him, and thought he must be expecting an apology. "Sorry, I know I caused a disturbance to practice. I won't tease ochibi like that again."

The taller boy breathed out heavily. He took his glasses off, and bowed his head as he wiped them on his shirt. "Do you want to go to the ramen bar with me?"

Large eyes blinked, and blinked again. And then there was a wide smile, one which bordered a grin. "Sure!"

In the twilight they walked together, their arms occasionally brushing.

They were comfortable this way.
