Well, I can understand or at least respect if someone doesn't like anime, just like I can respect someone who doesn't like modern music. It's a matter of taste, after all. But to equal anime with kids' stuff after hours of discussing the subject pisses me off.
Tell me about it. >_> I've been trying for years to make my parents understand that manga is not necessarily either kid stuff or porn&violence. Still no progress.
