Thanks so much for everyone's kind words. I do see myself getting better, hopefully soon, because Pez rules teh world and all ....because. ^^ Everybody is welcomed to stay friended to this journal, I will add you guys back eventually! :)

New Pope Benedict XVI has blasted J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books for "undermining the soul of Christianity".

Jeez. You don't possibly think that extreme conservative views might really be what's causing some of those problems, do you, Pope Benedict XVI?

It's also nice that he seems to speak for all of Christianity, even the factions that don't have him as a spiritual leader. ^_^

Somehow, the Church has always reminded me of the Chinese government... they define what is right and wrong, and everything that gets a bit too popular is definitely wrong. ^^"

That's brilliant. The New pope is contradicting the old Pope and proving himself to be a complete and utter wanker. The only people that are going to fully agree with him are the nuts that have had HP book burnings. -__-;; I just don't understand religion.

And ohh that link had HP photos. I feel dirty looking at them and thinking that they are looking pretty cute in the pics... but I still can't wait to see it. ^___^

To be honest, I hardly know anything about HP. I'm just not fond of the Church in general (have nothing against most of the Christians though). They send out mixed and sometimes condemning messages that I just can't make the sense out of =_=

And I know what you mean. The people who practice a religion can be great people but the institution itself can suck royally. I fear we'll get a lot of condemning messages form Benedict. I also don't like the lack of women rights/equality in the Catholic church.

And that they condemn gay people to discrimination because of their disapproval of homosexual relationship. And condemn people to HIV and other STDs because of their views on the use of contraceptions ~_~

I guess the Church and I never really got on with each other *sweat*
