pezIt's sad that I am not interested in reading other people's fanfics these days. I just want to write my own. ~_~
It's cold today! Went out to get my sight test, seems like my eyes have gotten better O_O ah well they are strange anyway, 2/3 years ago they suddenly decided to go bad, and now they're good again. Anyway, no money spent on new glasses, so that's good. Hopped to Muji next door and ran into Ka-Loong, who I actually know works there part-time but since I hardly know him, I never really said hi. Our acquaintance is limited to the 2 dinners we had with loads of other people, back when I was in my uni 1st year (4 years ago?). But today we did stop and say hi to each other, and talked a bit. Turned out that he finished his 2nd degree recently, because he didn't want to do mech eng... so now he's doing typography and designs and stuff. He seems a lot more down-to-earth now.
At one point I said that quite a few of the HK people from uni has gone back to HK to work. And what Ka-Loong said was quite right, that only the worst of us (those who just pass or get 3rds) go back home. And usually those people never tried to become part of this country - they don't converse with the British, they don't watch the TV... and other stuff, can't be bothered to type.

lina_lau for dinner. Y2 hopped by to pick up some old notes from me since he'll have exams soon (he skipped too many lectures). And now I'm home.
Oh, the last few days I've been thinking, if I'm to spend a couple hundred quid on a new desktop... I might as well save that money for a holiday? Should save that towards my next trip to Japan, which I hope to happen this autumn because I looove Japanese winter clothing, and summer will be too hot... wonder if anybody wants to go with me though...

Date: 2005-04-10 07:32 am (UTC)I need to go to Japan for GLAY stuff and Komeya's PoT doujinshis. And Rikkai doujinshis. And OMG CLOTHES. *adores Japanese clothing but HELL THEY'RE EXPENSIVE*. I've worked out that in the last have year I've saved up about £1200... a few months more and I should have enough money to go on an insane shopping spree in Japan~! It'd be soooo cool if you can go with me, I need some fellow fangirls around!!!
I hope you'll be able to bring all those doujinshi back. If you exceed your luggage allowance, there's always the 7 or 8kg hand luggage that you can use XD (but I usually just shove it all into the luggage and look innocent and they let me through)
