Was making toast in one of those mini-oven type toaster. Forgot about it, and of course the toast was all burnt. The toaster itself is fine, but now parts of it(which was white) and its glass window are all blackened by smoke. I tried cleaning it the normal way, but nothing has worked.

The biggest problem is, the toaster isn't mine >_<

Any tips on how I can clean it up?

I'll buy some to try tomorrow... the kitchen smells smoky anyway, and apparently vinegar helps too. ~_~ *sigh*

yes that's right, boiling vinegar eliminates smokey smell
and your kitchen ends up smelling of vinegar.

Splendid~

At least I guess I can get rid of vinegary smells by opening the window. The smokey smell just isn't going away >_
