(no subject)

pezI guess my last question about filter or comm should've been a poll instead. Now after reading the comments I don't know which way to go. Ebby and Belle both have their own log/games journal anyway.
I suppose the questions are:
- Is there enough interest (at least 4 people, I'd say) to justify a comm
- Will it be annoying that some will now post to the comm instead of their log/games journal... and how about those people watching those journals?
- Will it annoy people to have to friend yet another comm
- Will it grow? Will it die? Apart from our own "circle of friends", will other people start to find it and join it? I'm scared of that happening actually. Scared of large, noisy comms. Am comfortable in small ones. But then I want it to be free for joining and commenting too.
Asked a few friends to choose a number. Will be sending out small packets today to oh, at least 7 people, according to the number they've chosen. Arith you'll have to wait coz I'm burning stuff onto CD and will send it out together, I suppose Saturday.
Don't worry, the item in the packet is work safe. :)
Need to load some photos to the computer and do stuff related to the things I'm sending out. Tonight I guess, since it's Friday (When I woke up this morning I thought, isn't it Saturday today?) Oooh I got a camera! My cousin hadn't gotten me one in the end, he's way too busy. But I nabbed my dad's. We were at the shop, he contemplated about getting me a camera, but then saw this 7.2 mega pixels one. The moment he asked to look at it...
Me: You're getting that one for yourself and giving me your current one, right?
Dad: How did you know? XD
Sheep: Coz she's your kid!
Me: And I've known you for over 20 years. XD
Which is all good. In the end he got a shiny cool uber high spec camera, and I got the Sony 5 mega pixels one he's been using. 3x optical zoom, and all that stuff. Which is also uber cool. Coz if he didn't give me that one and instead bought me a new one, he would've chosen a 3 or 4 mega pixs. (there is no real need for me to use a higher spec one ^^)
I've been using the camera but haven't installed the thing to my comp yet... don't think I need a driver though.
*randomly remembers stuff from the holiday* Decorating the place in GuangZhou soon, I heard. Dad's been getting opinions from Sis about how to do it. I hope I'll get a simple room. Haven't been to the place actually, no idea what the rooms look like. Only hope there won't be a large window, I don't think I like large windows. And I'm not going near those 2 balconies (heard there are 2).
Speaking of my holiday last week, and balconies... we went to Langorn (sp?) Place in Mong Kok. Basically a huge shopping place with offices and attached to a hotel, all designed by famous architect and stuff. Boosts a 300feet long escalator. I don't really like the interior of it, but anyway. There was this bit where you walk down a few steps, turn at the landing and walk down again to the next floor. The landing sticks out a bit into the massive atrium down the centre of the building. It's prolly around 10 floors high? Which shouldn't be scary, except that instead of a metal barrier, there's a thick pane of glass as a barrier, and it's about waist height. When you stand there and look down, even if you're holding onto the glass, it feels like you're gonna fall. There actually is another pane of glass behind that, very tall, taller than a person anyway, so there's no way you'd fall. But because it's so tall and see-through, you don't notice its existance. So it still feels like you'll fall.
If it's just 10 or 20 floors, I wouldn't be affected. I used to live 22 floors high afterall. But OMG the glass. Heart in chest = explode, eyes = saw stars, breathing = ragged, mind = OMG help me!
