Plan for today
Jan. 23rd, 2004 11:03 amMy mobile phone bill for the last month just arrived. I was on the phone with my friend for 5 hours one night. No wonder Vodafone called to ask if my phone got stolen XD Luckily I had loads of free minutes stocked, otherwise I would be paying some 28 quid for that conversation.
Today's plan: read
mami_san's Gunning Down Romance (25 parts to read, w00t!), and write my own fic, which is getting really quite hard to write. I don't like the Takatori part, because I want to write it good, but I know I won't be able to put what I've planned into words properly. Damn. Once I get over Takatori though, I think I'll be able to write the rest of it fairly quickly, it's all planned out in my mind now, and the last major idea I had popped up some 3 weeks ago. Good good. I don't think there will be any more changes of plan.
The thing is... when I write, I usually only have a very vague idea of what's going to happen, and the ending. I just keep to those key events and let the story write itself in between. I guess that's what people call muses... let the characters do what they would do, say what they would say. Which makes writing fun because even I don't know everything that's gonna happen. With [Blinded], though, almost the whole damn thing has been planned out in my mind. The idea had been there for too long (parts of it were ideas from over 3 years ago). It should be easier to write because of it, but I find it harder. I don't know why.
Anyway. The rest of today's plan: find out why 0! = 1. I knew the proof before, but I've forgotten. Gonna go look it up in Mathworld now. ^^"
