Hmmm.... PMK15 is going to be a filler episode, different from the manga... actually I'd rather like it to be like the manga, coz episode 14 has laid the tracks and the impact would be so much greater if they don't put funny filly things in between. *sigh*

After reading the first 6 volumes, I declare myself a SusumuTetsu strong-affection-but-I-dunno-if-it's-love fan. I can't say why yet, otherwise I spoil the anime, but watch a few more episodes and you'll see.

Out of all the characters, I like Suzu the best. And then maybe Susumu or Okita. Hijikata can be really funny as well.

I've ordered my PMK vol.1-3. They could arrive in a week, but Mable's stuff may take 4-6weeks, and everything's being shipped together... oh well, it's better to watch more anime first. Reading the manga first always make me kinda disappointed in the anime anyway. *shrugs*

*goes make herself more YnM Mafia icons*

I'm jealous...

And curious... Does it make it easy for you to read Japanese since you know Chinese? And if so... whahhhh... I'm even more jealous [hugs my pitiful PMK scans and the anime eps I've seen (all 14)].

Ohh I see! Because the anime has been following the plot of Shinsengumi Imon Peacemaker so far, and I didn't find the poetry bit in that manga, I just assumed it's a filler episode ^^" Looks like it came from the 2nd manga series ^^" Thanks for pointing it out!

^^

It does help a lot. I know some basic Japanese, and I understand the kanji, so I can guess the meaning of the dialogues a third of the time. The sentence structure of Japanese is more like Chinese than English too. Also, some Japanese phrases are really hard to be translated properly into English... take "shiawase" for example, in English they just call it happiness, when in fact it's to do with complete fulfillment, satisfaction with life etc. Chinese translations are more accurate in this sense ^^

The anime is really playing around with the order of events in SIP and PMK, but other than that I'm really enjoying it. You're going to love PMK when you get your copies. The art is just gorgeous.

Hey hey! Just curious, is your PMK manga the HK version? I mean, HK publishers. :) I don't want the taiwan ones, because they aren't that good and pages falls out. *looks at some of her X mangas*

I have PMK 1-2 in Japanese, so damn pretty! But I wanna get book 3!!! But is your chinese one, the cover layout similar to the Jap one?

My SIP are Taiwanese ones. How good the book holds together depends on the publisher... which one published X? I bought loads of manga published by 大然, and I haven't got any problems. They've done the Taiwanese SIP too.

The PMK is by 東立, Hong Kong version. I would actually prefer a Taiwanese version, since their translations are better (HK people can't do good Chinese... *sigh*), but that's what they have at YesAsia.com so...

Let's see, X is published by Tohan Comic. But as I'd said, the bindings aren't that great, some of the pages do fall off!

I prefer the HK version because the paper quality and coloured pages are better. And also, the bindings are nicer. But these days, I'm rather picky, since I *love* mangas so much, I get the japanese ones. They're so *much* nicer even though they're more expensive...*cries*

I see... I never bought anything Tohan Comics ^^

I buy both Chinese and Japanese versions! XD Depends on what manga it is, of course... I have both Chinese and Japanese DNAngel manga. I might buy the Japanese versions of PMK too, if I go back to HK in the summer... too expensive to buy in UK >_<

Are we obsessed or are we obsessed? *L*
