Tezuka being in love is a completely separate issue ;) He isn't going to even try to get between Niou and Yagyuu. He's one of those fatalistic romantic type.
Hmmmm I don't think so. He's the very very romantic type, as in, he would actually try to get them to patch things up. He'd much rather hang around in the background and stuff, especially since he knows he doesn't share eternity with those two. He'd be more happy knowing those two are happy together than to know he got between them. Probably ends up guilttripping himself to death, you know.
I'm not sure... it really depends on the circumstances. In a sense he's way too realisitc, and very sure where he stands amongst the vampires, even though he hopes for more - I think he yearns for companionship because he's somewhere between the human and vampire societies and he can't blend in anywhere. Even though he doesn't say it he longs for Yagyuu's approval and Niou's care because those two are the center of his life, so whenever they don't respond to him he goes all wobbly. And he's in his early twenties, ready to fall completely in love and everything. (in fact he always has ^^""") In some ways he's very self-confident, in others he's all jello inside. He's very jello about where he stands with Niou and Yagyuu right now, still remembering that Niou tried to seduce him, not knowing that Yagyuu and Niou had patched things up, and then those two hardly ever speak to him now. One side of him thinks this is good and the other side is very, very lonely ;_;
If he's drunk, then he'll be too muddled to be realistic Yus, he's a feeder and just because he's broken by a vampire, doesn't mean that it automatically makes them companions. And, hey, before the patching things up, Niou would have probably just initiated something like a one night stand and wouldn't have thought much of it afterwards. He finds it easy to discard people after he's used them and he finds it easy to never look back, not even a backwards glance. It's really sad because Niou isn't the type to take care of people or care for them; he's more the type to let them take care of themselves. S'why he likes Yagyuu so much, because Yagyuu is fully capable of taking care of himself.
What stops it from really falling apart is that he sees them both in their own little world. Sure, the clan exists, but in his head, it's really just them and a whole bunch of other people thrown into the mix. Kind of like a molotov cocktail XD! Which is probably why they don't speak to Tez as much, because Tezuka is new and they still kind of have to get used to it all? <- not v. sure because she is running low on fuel and sleep atm XD ♥
Would Niou be interested in getting drunk on alcohol-tinged blood? Tezuka just hopes to be cared about, not care for, but he knows that's too much to expect from Niou. But he still hopes anyway XD
Tezuka isn't all that sociable in the first place so I don't see his relationship with the others improving much. He might get on with the other feeders though.
Hmm yes, drunk Tez. Now you'd have to get him drunk in the first place. With this guy it might be difficult - not that he has high alcohol tolerance, he might just refuse to drink more than he knows he can hold. It'll take a bit of convincing/mind fiddling.

Niou isn't social at all except as a flirt; he'll talk to people and vampires and whatever, but it won't really be to make a connection. He sees being social as a tool and he uses it to his best advantage [read: seducing Tezuka] He gets along with clan members because, well, forever is a long time and even he can't be alone forever. Clan members = immortals who won't die out on him and aren't easily killed and taken away [read: his past]
XD that is like so opposite from Niou, because Niou would just keep drinking even if he knew he went past his own limits, PSH! HE AFFIRMS THAT HE HAS NO LIMITS. He's a chugger boy, he'll chug chug chug till it's all gone and ask for seconds, thirds and fourths.
From which I conclude that Tezuka doesn't really mean much to Niou except from being his property really, and someone with tasty blood and a lap for him to rest his head on when Yagyuu isn't available/is pissed off with him again (eg this log) which really is sad for Tezuka but it isn't like he doesn't know this already so don't worry about him.
Niou knows Tez likes him and now Tez admits that to himself and he's trying to keep everything on a professional level. Although to be honest at the moment Tezuka is thinking about running away. The human/vampire conflict is intensifying, people everywhere are condemning vampires and there are psychics sniffing everywhere, even in his college and he thinks none of this is good for him, he doesn't know how to deal with Niou anymore and both societies don't want him - which is fatalistic yet very realistic thinking really because I agree with Tez. It would've been nice if Niou didn't ruffle Tez's feathers and make him realise he actually likes him not only because he's the breaker. But now that it's done there's no going back and Tez is like "if I can't sort this situation out I should get out of this situation" ie. go away.
That was yet another long paragraph. When you come back from hiatus let's play!
