He isn't what he appears and everyone, literally everyone knows. There is something about him that nobody can put their fingers on. He is a good boy apparently but he wears his uniform without tucking his shirt in *tsk tsk* and he gets on well with the infamous Niou Masaharu. And you never see his eyes unless when he's pretending to be someone else.

05. What is Niou's appeal?

Too bad, I watched the anime first and it was "huh???"

Short-sighted, but actually not enough to necessitate glasses.

That it's fun to watch and fun to pretend. Niou recognises the benefits of making everyone think good of him, but he himself can't be bothered. Besides, Yagyuu can do it for him.

It's bleached, real hair! What you need to do to get black hair to look like this is bleach it a few times then use a very light blue dye. I know coz I've done it before.

I think Niou doesn't know what his personality is, so yeah, whatever.
