Just discovered that one of the three issues of Colour Kingdom I bought during Ayacon in... 2002 (?) had a Castlevania feature. Win.
Unrelatedly - I get a few PMs a month asking for help/advice on making cosplay. I answer as thoroughly as I can, but only about one in ten people ever bother to say thank you afterwards.
I'm not asking for praise or for people to say I'm a great person or a great cosplayer or that they owe me a favour or whatever, it's just common courtesy. And it's not just the teenagers, even the slightly older ones always not bother saying please and thank you. It's rude. And it makes it look like I was obliged to help like a customer service assistant. What the hell.
