Cosplay help please.

I've made Faize's shorts, with elastic at the top and bottom, all hemmed and lined already. Because his shorts are puffy I allowed some extra material, but I can't get them to stay puffed up when I'm wearing them, so they don't look very Faize-y and the decorations on the sides don't look as good as they should!

So, I'm thinking about those puffy skirts with tulle (?) fabric on the underside. I've never made one of those, have no idea how to make it and have no idea if that technique can work here to make each trouser stay puffed. Anyone got any ideas?

(If there isn't a way, I suppose I will just stuff tulle netting down each trouser. XD)

The flu-jab people are in the office today. It's amazing how many people come up with all sorts of excuse not to have it. I guess some are legitimate, but others are just plain "omg needle! Scared! Not getting it! Would rather catch the flu!" I can understand if people have an actual phobia and want to avoid it at all costs, but from what I can see, my coworkers are just being wusses.

There's a scene in the TLR fic I'm writing which reminds me of the Kwik-Fit TV ads. Kwik-Fit will fix it! Rush will fix it.......... oh wait.

That said, I still want David to be drugged in some sort of situation. XDDDDDDDD NO. IT'S NOT DRUG RAPE. No, I wasn't going there. But still. The idea was bad. Unless I turn the whole thing into crackfic. Hey wait, that's an idea...

Did a quick hair & skin colour test. Turns out that:

1 - it's easy to make oneself go several shade darker in skin tone
2 - Dave's hair is extremely easy to style with my current hair

Which led to this conversation:

Me: Wow, this hair is really easy to do. I only spent what, 8 minutes on it.
Liz: Well, his hair is pretty close to real people hair. There are plenty of metro guys out there with Dave hair.
Me: XD

Do need to do something about the roots, though.

My sister's too busy to make the flowers. Guess I'll try to make them myself when there's time.

Okay, off to wash this stuff off me, then back to making Soldier Blue.
