Watching the news tonight made me lose a bit more faith in humanity. Don't think I had much of it to begin with, so there is very little left now.

Started playing Fable 2. I'm having a bit of problems with the text on the screen - it's far too small. The controls take getting used to since it uses all the buttons on the controller and there are so very many buttons.

I was saying to Liz that I won't show her, and then she was like, "I'm the one who assigned IDs, you know" which was pretty anticlimatic since I was wondering if she could pick me out when it's HxH not PoT. But anyway. Going back to the AU now.

It's bad to let kids see nude bodies. Who cares if it's art? Everybody was born with clothes on! And beating people up, the way they do in lots of kiddy comics, is clearly better than nakedness!

Don't forget that in the US version of PoT manga, they edited out Akutsu's smoking but kept the parts where he served rocks at other kids using his tennis racket. BECAUSE CLEARLY BEATING PEOPLE UP IS GOOD AND SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED BUT TEENAGE SMOKING IS V. V. BAD.

Still haven't managed to get hold of the Rikkai Supporter's DVD. Did try to buy it through goodbye_money for the October deadline, but my request was just, well, ignored. Don't know what I've done wrong. They said something about Animate orders and such but I can't make sense of it because I'm stupid. It's sort of distressing that they got my full name and address but then kinda just left it. Anyway. I'd order from Nippon Export but customs will rip me off really badly.

A minor battle took place in order to get Wii Fit working.

...........I'm not playing that hula hoop game again. *collapses*

The game also told me I don't have Kite's Amazing Sense of Balance. *sad*

But overall? It's as the reviews say - it's not a miracle and doesn't replace real activities, but it introduces exercise in a non-frightening and rather fun way. Plus you gain points to unlock more games as you play.

Today I discovered Inoue Takehito did the art for Lost Odyssey. Which made me pause, and then go "OOOOOOOOOOH OF COURSE!" Really should've noticed. XD

Today I tried to get a Casio Databank watch for my dad as Christmas present, because he used to have a black one many years ago and he loved playing with it. But the style that I want isn't available at shops here, sells for £60+ on Amazon, and only £23 on eBay... from HK sellers. """""orz I'm not gonna get them to send me the watch and then send it back to HK to my dad because that's WTF, and I'm not going to tell the seller to just send it to my dad because that ruins the idea of gift-giving. So... gonna look for something else instead.
