England is being England again. They're so good at 1) not getting things done 2) getting things done wrong 3) extortion 4) being assholes. Of course it depends on where in the country you are, in London it's worse than a lot of other places, they treat people like shit. Maybe I should move out of the capital. Outside the capital, maybe bus drivers would be less inclined to make your life hell, people would be less inclined to scream at each other in the street in the middle of the night, office workers would look at paperwork more carefully before sending them out to me, people with baby prams would less likely to use them to run you over just for their "right of way", concert security would be less arsey about you bringing food in because there were no signs saying no food allowed anyway.
Hmph.
