There were homemade walnut brownies with chocolate sauce and pomegranate ice-cream. They were good. Good way to end a year.

East Londoners are going crazy with their noisy fireworks. I've drawn my curtains in an attempt to lower the risk of suffering multiple cut wounds should a firework rocket fly through the windows. You don't trust a drunk person yelling foreign words at the top of his voice, who has with large amounts of explosives.

Back to work on the 2nd. The mere thought of it depresses me.
