(no subject)

Explosive device found in Haymarket. The news media would've had a field day if that happened during the 68 rudder-less minutes, hm? (Reminds me of West Wing.) Right now there is absolutely no info on this device but BBC News is doing its very best to spend a lot of time talking about it. I think quite soon they'll run out of ideas and start interviewing people and trees and dogs for their opinion.

(I don't live near there, FYI. But that's an extremely busy and touristy area. China Town is also nearby.)

It seemed like a couple wanted to swindle reward money out of the parents of the girl who disappeared in Portugal. I was going to say "how heartless can people get?" but then if you look at the news everday... there is no limit to heartlessness.

To be honest, I think the chance of Alan Johnston coming back alive is much higher than the chance for this girl.

Showed my rikkai_exchange fic to giving_ground last night when I was suddenly struck down by the fear of being told it's no good and having to rewrite, the way it happened in their_white_day. It seems like I'm safe... though I think the fic still needs something, I just have to figure out what that something is. ("More sex!" a certain member of Rikkai shouts.)

It also needs a title. This is gonna be fun...

icon keywords

I've been fiddling around with this for a long time now. How can I get icon keywords to display when my cursor hover over an icon? Some friends have that working on their LJ, but I can't find out how to set it. Is it layout-specific? It even works in semagic, but just not on my layout?

Can I just say something?

My love for Ouji has just, er, kinda exploded.

But I don't know why. I know one or two people who have that sort of "look" as well, and I think they're good looking but never attractive. Probably because they don't have a cute smile like Ouji has, and I know them as bloody slackers who were hell to work with.

Oh, and Genki's getting his own photobook + DVD set, too.


Haircut this weekend, because I can't stand it any longer.
