Shin de mo ii~~~~ :DYou know, although it's really nice and all that jazz for people to worry about me, when I don't pick up the phone it usually means I left home without it, so there's no need to yell at me when I call back asking why the shit you called me 5 times. Good grief, how old do you think I am?
lina_lau made me want to cosplay again. No love for you. >:E Not that I've managed to decide on who to cosplay... Balial is a definite, and one day I will take out the Cain costume and fix it and brush it up... the back part has dismantled, it was crap anyway so I need to make a new one. The pendant's gone... and all that. But that's going to take a lot of effort, and glue...I kind of like complicated costumes. Or costumes that have a complicated part to them. Therefore the Ed and the Cain. But right now all the characters I can think of that's worth cosplaying/suit my shape wear things that are embroidered. I still have no idea how those people get embroidery on their costumes. Maybe they pay to get it done?
So the characters that came to mind were:
Lavi - giant hammer ftw. But er, I still haven't watched D.Gray-man yet. (btw, it IS Lavi, right? *can't remember who's who*)
Ritsuka - ........... me, doing cute? Erm... and there isn't much sewing involved.
Kadaj - but everyone and their mothers cosplay Kadaj, and I'm not into FFAC anyway.
someone from Vampire Knight - although the actual outfit doesn't seem that different from Cain, just without all those contraptions.
Mugen - XDDDDD!
Lina also showed me lots of pictures from lots of series I'd never even heard of (and can't remember the names of).
I wish I can cosplay Nii-sama, if only just for a photoshoot instead of an event. But my face isn't sharp enough for Nii-sama. Although, the possibility of me being a cracked version of Shunshui has been discussed! A totally cracky and wrong version. I really like that idea and might work on it if I ever come across the necessary materials. ;) Speaking of which... can anyone please show me a pic of Shunshui, manga-style? I want to know if he wears the same pink as he does in the anime.
Lina also showed me College Saga on YouTube. I died at around episode 2. There's so much parodying of Final Fantasy 7 & 8, every fan of FF should enjoy it. The whole story is anti-vegetarian, but it's all done in good humour.
