Monday morning
Oct. 3rd, 2005 09:31 amDropping box and letting corner hit my thigh whilst trying to hurl it over my head ----> OW ----> bruised lump in the thigh today ----> ow. (at least it's gone from OW to ow)
I'm so awake it's scary. Haven't been this awake for the last month. 100x more awake than anyone should be on a Monday morning.
Working day. WAH WHY IS COWORKER ALL NORMAL AGAIN??? I CAN'T TELL WHAT'S REAL OMG.

Oct. 3rd, 2005 02:24 pmI STILL haven't gotten past the first chapter of the original story T_T go me for writing and deleting and writing and deleting. Which means Mike gets introduced again and again and again -_- (I bet she hates me now, but if she dare say one word, I'd rename her Mary-Kate.) Goal of this week is to sort this out. That is if I get the peace and quiet to write stuff. I can't seem to get anything written (or get anything done, even) when there are people talking - and there are always people talking. Sis likes having TV soaps playing on her computer, even if she isn't watching it, just because she likes having the background noise. Which is something I HATE... but I haven't told her... don't know how to. And I can't shut the door - the cats go crazy and start tearing at the carpet whenever the door's closed. T_T I WEEP.
This is the TV programme my dad talked about. It seems like he got some bits wrong when he told me the story, but really, it's still really amazing! (Summary version, still in simplified Chinese)
(It's a story about the adventures of a 58 years-old Chinese woman, who had never been out of the country and didn't know ANY English whatsoever. One day she suddenly decided she was going to go to America, alone, with only $300 in her pockets. You've just got to admire her courage. If you google her name, you'll find quite a few articles on her travels.)
