(no subject)

It was 12 degrees C when I left home to go work on site this morning. My breath misted in the air.

Two hours later, it got SO HOT. The sun was beating down so hard. Just got home, and my cheeks are red from all the sunshine.

*collapses*

Pez: What have you been doing today?

VLP!Tez: *twiddles thumbs, bored*

Fusion!Tez: *dying under pressure*

Tez-plush: Acting mad.

(At Covent Garden, at one of the stalls that sells t-shirts, the woman makes t-shirts that have a cartoon of a guy and a cat on it. On the top are the words: "I talk to my cat.", and the guy says to the cat: "what have you been doing?" and the cat replies: "acting mad". The same t-shirt design has been there for 10+ years.)

re: Ed cosplay, I know exactly how I'm going make the automail, now. Ordered the materials I need at eBay last night. Since I'm waiting for the things to arrive, I think I'll work on the pattern on the back of his red coat. Definitely not painting it on because it'll be yucky, so I think I'll try to get hold of some black velvety material, cut the pattern out and then sew it on. If not, I'll use the material I used to make Tez-plush's Matrix jacket.

I also need a white glove. And belt. *makes note to go to charity shops* Pocket watch... I'm sure I can make something up...

Cosplay progress, #1

I rock. (ignore the creasiness, this thing has yet to be introduced to the iron!)

Of course I didn't make the coat myself. But I've done the symbol thingy now.

Need to find Eric tomorrow to get Sis's glue gun back so that once my materials arrive I can start making the automail. The boots I should be able to get 2nd hand rather cheaply and I can still wear them afterwards. (although upon closer inspection, Ed's boots are brown with reddish soles. I'm just gonna stick to black ones)

And I'll need a wig -_-
