(no subject)

I know that, if I put my mind to it, I can make myself a pretty layout that will make myself and other people go "oooo" and "aaaah". But I just can't be bothered. (if I do make another one though, it'd probably not be anime/manga/glay related...)

In fact, I know that if I put my mind to it, I can do loads of things. Including making a plush. (unfortunately, Niou-plush's hair is quite screwed. Otherwise he is rather nice). I can probably draw really good picture that I'd be proud of even when I look at it again a week later. But it takes too much effort and I just can't be bothered.

Isn't it just sad? I need to have reasons to do things. Say if it's somebody's birthday, I might get off my arse and draw a picture or make a plush. Otherwise, I can't get the motivation to do things.

Death and taxes

I don't know what "self assessment" is ^^""" I get my income tax deducted from my salary every month... so will I need to do that assessment or not?

Bloody council tax. They messed up some calculations and now I don't know how much I need to pay, since I've already paid for the first month. But in total, this year, my borough + Great London Authority = £800-something. And I'm only in a band E property.

That said... my Borough is a good Borough. I lived in Fulham before and that council was crap. But now where I am, the streets are always clean, the streetlamps all work, the trash is collected twice a day or something, roadworks are done when needed. So I guess it's worth the money...
