I never really complain about how people post on their journals. It's their journal, their choice on how to post, how often to post and what to post. Big fonts? Multiple colours? Sure. Memes... those with pictures I prefer to see a cut, but still, doesn't bother me much. Large pics and photos I trust my friends to put behind cut anyway.

But when it comes to communities... what the fuck is it with people posting in different font sizes and colours??? More and more people are doing it. Am I alone in feeling annoyed by this? Am I stupid and shouldn't feel bothered?

I enjoy reading community posts, and don't want to put them on a separate filter because some dudes feel like, er, expressing themselves/standing out from the crowd by bolding or enlarging their texts. But I don't think I should have to put up with this stupidity either.

In light of the posts on my flist about a song mocking/insulting the Asia Tsunami victims, I did some thinking, and have decided to say something. Some people may be upset by this, and it may not sound very good to my new friends in particular, but I just feel I have to say it.

In yesterday's chat, some friends were talking about the BoP video and commented, jokingly, that Fuji is a Nazi because in the video he wears a green, slightly military looking top.

I said at the time that I didn't get the joke. The truth is, I don't think it's something that can be joked about. There are things in life that should not be joked about. The Nazis, the Tsunami, the Tienanmen Massacre, the Nanjing Massacre, and the other tragedies caused by the evils of humanity or by nature.

I wouldn't say I was offended, but I was shocked back there in the chat.
