Well, survived the meeting with my supervisor. In fact, he's so nice! My interim report is good, but not very good. He's so nice all along and suggested where I can improve. The best thing is, he gave the report back to me so that I can actually *make* the improvements and hand it in again. Loads of words of encouragement here and there, how this experiment is going to look very good even though it doesn't look it now, and stuff. Oh, how I wanted to glomp him!

Feel so much safer after backing up all my files. All except my MP3s and videos, because those... either will take many, many discs, or I'll need to by DVD writer for them! If I lose those, I'll just download again. *shrugs* I used to do back-up every 2 weeks, but lately I just kept forgetting ^^"

Oh and my interview yesterday. Not too good, not too bad. I guess my fate depends on how the other candidates perform. They'll get back to me before the end of next week. I heard that a classmate of mine went for an interview at Mott Mac and got an offer *immediately*. MOTT MAC! He must've done really, really well. A few others have got offers too. Makes me all twitchy now... when am I going to get one?

Are there any websites with good screencaps of Johnny Depp in Pirates of Caribbean? Preferably funny screencaps that are quite large (at least 400px wide?), but any caps will do really.

*itching to do a pirate LJ layout*

[edit: I usually use Virtual Dub to do screencapping. But if I have a DVD and play it on my comp, what can I use to cap?]
