Oh, good news
Nov. 30th, 2003 12:31 amI sent a question to LJ Abuse Team about quoting email contents in my entries, and here's what they said.
Dear LiveJournal User yuki_scorpio,
Without a link to the entries in question, the LiveJournal Abuse Team is only able to discuss generalities. That said, the reprinting of an email is generally not actionable, so long as no personally identifying information is transmitted along with it. While not likely something the Abuse Team would take action against, setting posts of a potentially sensitive or volatile nature friends-only may also help diffuse the situation at large.
Regards,
LiveJournal Abuse Team
Goodies. I think I'll keep my last few entries public [ed: actually, now made private]. But yeah, I'll take the advice to make some stuff private now... namely, my next entry.
