pezThe HK Central Library. An ugly piece of architecture, and the amount of books it holds probably equals the amount of books there were in IC's Library. Given that the HK Central Library is so large, it's such a waste of space. However, the staff there are all very helpful, and the building's interior design makes everything simple and easy to use. There are also plenty of space for readers, and loads of facilities.
But I didn't manage to get any of the books I wanted. *sigh*
Got my PS2 mod-chipped, finally. Was playing Smash Hit 2 - COOL GAME. I think I might buy the real thing when I go to Oosaka.
Did I ever tell anyone that when I buy manga, anime goods, games etc, I always choose the stores manned by guys? I "discriminate" against the stores looked after by women XD They know as much as the guys, they do, but I can haggle and always get better deals with the guys *cough*. They're more polite than the gals too. And if I pick up a Glay CD and ask them "do you have this CD's poster", they really will check for me. If they don't have it in the shop but think they have it in the storeroom, they'll call the storeroom to check too. If I'm lucky they might even give it to me for free.
No no no - I don't charm or flirt with anyone. *gah* But I think I have a rather friendly, confident smile and honest voice, that's why things usually works for me.
I've also been told (by friends and even my own mother) that when I don't smile, I am very, very, VERY mean looking. XD
Winamp help: when you go to "view file info...", at the bottom lefthand corner there are things such as MPEG type, copyright stuff, etc. What is the "original" thing? I've discovered that when it's "original: no", I can't play that MP3 on my MP3 player (not the comp one, the one I take with me). What does that mean?
