So far I've counted five people on my flist having posted about Sherlock.

I haven't become interested in any show at the same time as other people for a long, long time. (I almost always watch things months after) This is so exciting. XD

Need to go to iPlayer so that I can screencap for icons...

It would have been 6 if I'd not been lazy enough not to update. XD

IT WAS SO GOOD OMG. I really wasn't expecting much, but ended up in love with it. The acting and the script were just so good, and funny! I wasn't expecting so much funny. Is it Sunday yet?

[livejournal.com profile] sherlockbbc. Join us. (And there are icons, too!) :)

Sunday needs to come sooner!

Awesome! About half way through the show I was already saying I'd make a comm for it if modding wasn't so scary. XDDDD

I think two people had the same idea, as there ended up being [livejournal.com profile] sherlockbbc and [livejournal.com profile] bbcsherlock. XD I'm just glad there is a fandom for it, and that the viewing figures were good, as we may get a full series, fingers crossed. :)

The way Sherlock twitched slightly when he was talking to the cabbie - that reminded me of Jeremy Brett which is a BRILLIANT thing. At the same time he is his own character, not a shadow of the previous Sherlock Holmes! So much love.

This is pretty much exactly how I feel about him - the thing where there's a bit that reminds one of Brett but it's definitely a distinct version and it's really great.

Also the being interested in something at the same time as other people. Baffling!

I would post on "Holmes as Aspergers" (which is meant to be part of the characterisation here) but I don't have an LJ to post it on!

Lol, as a diagnosed Aspie myself, I was seeing myself in the way he was acting. My Mum was saying the same thing. She recognised it withing the first fifteen minutes of the show.

I'd have posted about it, but everyone on my flist already seems to know it's awesome.

My roommate watched it before I did and kept bursting into my room every few minutes to tell me something awesome that had happened. So I watched and I love it. I really can't wait for the next episode.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I'm weirded out by this whole Sherlock thing being so positive and... crowded. At the same time. :O
