Jul. 9th, 2004 04:08 pmI did a bit of research before buying PoT toys in HK. Wan Chai is a much cheaper place than Mong Kok (Sino Centre being the most expensive place). Tsuen Wan is supposed to be the cheapest, but I'd lose more money getting there than the money I save.
BUT. A discovery just now, when I went out to the local area with my mum to buy stuff for dinner... a toy store (the only toy store) near my home sells the big Fuji and Tezuka silk plushes (the ones shown in the photo yesterday). And at the cheapest price I can find. Only about US$15.5. When I bought mine at Wan Chai I paid about US$20.
.....ah well.
They have some One Piece toys too, but not much. Most are American action toys. It's a teeny weeny store.
