You know how they always talk about getting dental work done in Eastern Europe? Has any of you actually done it, or know someone who has done it? What's the experience like?

I don't know if this counts, but my aunt and cousin had dental work done in Turkey and it went A OK for them. Also it was about 60% cheaper than in the UK.

That sounds like a good option. I've got some major things that need done to my teeth and prices here are prohibitive. It's slightly less costly in HK but not by that much. Hmmmmmm.

Being from Eastern Europe I must say... I never heard we have better dental work done here O.o

Probably mostly because all healthcare in Poland sucks (mostly because our government sucks - we really do have brilliant doctors sometimes...) I'm always having my teeth repaired in the same place, private place owned by my Mum's friend. The woman is amazing, though she tends to keep people veeery long in the torture chair... But I never had problems with teeth afterwards (not with the repaired ones, at least). Still, from what I know she does only minor things - for the major ones You'd need to register at the clinic... And that would probably suck too :/

Therefore I recommend Poland only to the patient and desperate ones :)
