Adjusted the waistcoat. It looks a bit better in real life. I can't close the shirt collar because it's not originally a formal shirt. Should I wear a different shirt? (This one has the single sleeve though, and that reminds me of Dave...)

That *is* a better length for that waistcoat.

I think the collar looks alright as it is--does the cravat hold it together okay?

Comparing the photo with the Dave in the icon... the colour of the cravat is such a good match it's scary.

The cravat isn't helping much. The top button of the shirt is about the level where the waistcoat's V starts, and with a safety pin I can hold it together somewhat, but the collar itself can't be closed no matter what I do. But if it looks okay I'll keep it!

I think the shirt looks fine. Of course if you want it to sit right then it might be better going with a different shirt.
