Everybody's getting sick. Guess the rapidly-changing weather plus flu season is doing its thing. Today I'm tarudoruing it. That's the theory anyway.
Cosplay Island is down, which is sad. Would go to Expo forums to look at pictures instead, except people post HUGE pics there and there are also big images embedded in the webpage background, which is the sort of thing I hate to open at work. I don't like forums, really. They're so hard to... understand. >_> Then there are those massive sigs that take up half a page when someone just posts a one-line reply. What?
How long has it been since SE last updated this page? There is nothing on Xbox360 or PS3. O_O On the NA website, however, there is Star Ocean The Last Hope: International listed for release on PS3 next year, which is not what they said in the beginning of this year. Tweaked menu and auto-targetting, it says. The rest of it doesn't look much different though, looking at what they say on various sites. Ah, whatever, really. It's not like I'd get it anyway, even if they have new content.
Last weekend I went with my brother-in-law to GAME and HMV, looking for something to play on the Box. I do RPGs, he does... well, anything really, any game that doesn't require lots of reading and understanding plot. So first person shooters, fighter pilots, boxing, etc. And he does play Dynasty Warriors but just ignores all the instructions. XD Anyway. we went to the shops. There was nothing we could find that seemed play-worthy. Nothing at all. How sad is that? I need to expand my gaming genre. But... nothing's drawing me to Silent Hill 5 after having played the first two (or three?), and Assassin's Creed looks shiny but somehow... and I'm sure Left 4 Dead is fun but it just isn't my thing.
The coworker who's going to Expo as dressed as Captain Falcon# told me "You should come join me in Azeroth!" and my reply was "I’m sure it’s great fun... but I don’t have enough time to do all the things I want to do already, how can I afford the time to not have a life?"
# It'll be his first cosplay. And he's never seen my cosplay pictures. We're threatening each other with the sending of photos to the A0 plotter to decorate the office walls with.
Yay more material arrived. I can now finish Soldier Blue (if the wig arrives in time). I'll wear him Saturday, and Dave Sunday, I think.

But I do have to say that its quite frustrating when your directionally challenged in AC. Good thing I had a friend who had an excellence sense of direction.
Btw, you will be hearing the beep beep sounds weeks after an overdose of that game.

Date: 2009-10-15 03:08 pm (UTC)The one set of english-speaking guys who sat next to us gave me very confused looks just before they left. *giggles* I sort of wonder what the waiter thought of us, really, but I am very glad he didn't turf us out into the rain.
