At home today

From getting out of bed to getting first cup of tea: half an hour.

No energy today at all. My body is limp. Not sure if this has anything to do with standing in the middle of a roundabout in the wind and rain yesterday or if my body just randomly decided to tell me to not move today. :D;;; Now I'm under a duvet on the sofa with a cup of tea with lots of sugar. Hey I can probably use the time to finish the epilogue! ...or not. *goes play with BBC iplayer*

This is actually quite bad because I've got work stuff with me which I ought to give to coworkers today.



Saw this for £1 includng P&P on eBay. Couldn't resist getting it.

From the top of the silvery bit to the tip it's about 4.5cm.

(The sugar and emergency frozen food is helping me a bit. Now actually considering venturing out to do some grocery shopping. But will first fortify myself with more tea...)

Huh, that's a little smaller than I was thinking, but still pretty decent.

I was actually thinking last night that I needed to ask if you have any decent screencaps of the talisman. And then I got distracted trawling the various TLR sites for pictures of Rush. :P

(Hmm, tea. That's a really good idea. I should crawl into the kitchen and investigate that concept further.)

Ideally it needs to be longer. I'm thinking that rather than just painting the tip gold, I can put a bit of putty on the end to lengthen it and then paint the putty gold. Still won't make it that much larger though. XD

Not of the talisman. ;; I can check my save files to see if I have a save near the "there's something about that guy" scene and screencap it if I do~

Yeah, the glass tube I am planning to use as a base is a bit longer--above 5.5cm, now I measure. But pre-glowing seems like a handy attribute to offset slight shortness.

I think there's a decent view of the talisman when Rush first picks it up, actually. But it's probably a bitch to get the right moment. Mrf. I'll have a try myself later today, probably.

I've been awake less than half an hour. English skills are optional for at least another hour or so. :)

It is. But with this one I end up having to use the "necklace" (actually the wire for the light, in a bit of plastic) that came with it rather than being able to choose my own necklace. It's hard to get it all perfect. =/

Oh, that's true. And also after Gates of Hell, when they all ended up in Cherry Pavillion and Rush gave Irina the pendant, too. But the scene you mentioned is the opening which is a lot easier to get to. :D

The wire looks at least a metally colour, though, so it's not *too* far out.

Ooh, yeah. And, uh, yeah, fighting the Gates of Hell to get a decent picture of the talisman is perhaps a little too much dedication for me today. :P

I'm not sure what my excuse is for incoherency. Insanity, usually.
