Had to do a lot of photoshopping to get rid of all the union and battle information on the screen. Rather pleased with the result. *_* Can't decide whether he's got a look of great concentration or if that's actually a tiny little smirk on his lips. Which, um, might be the wrong thing to say because he hardly has any lips. From the front it almost looks like he's got no nose either! But I think he's beautiful. ♥

Rush: So, is Torgal good-looking by sovani standards?
Dave: I don't know.
Rush: *goes to ask Allan*
Allan: (fsdhkjfhska good thing we sovanis don't blush visibly) Don't ask me irrelevant questions, stupid mitra!

Got Kenshin on again. I'm reminded of another reason why I love this series so much: the guys are amazing, of course, but the women are also awesome. That's quite hard to find in any series these days. They will do what they want to/must do, yet at the same time they understand their limits as well as their advantages. In short, they're mature and intelligent, unlike oh, Esther Blanchett or Yuki Cross.

I'm trying to think of a character in this series I dislike, and haven't come up with one yet. Enishi annoys me a bit, I guess. *ducks*

Google Docs has been randomly sticking words together again. Would've been good if I noticed that before I posted a fic chapter. Had to go and look for the weirds words and edit. I really like Google Docs because it's very convenient, but I wish it wouldn't do silly things like this.

(Wyngale's got really interesting clothes. On the PC (still playing the first run-through, actually I haven't played for over two months) I haven't got to hire him yet, so haven't managed to get good screencaps of him. On xbox when he was first hired he had four clubs, which made me think he must be really good at playing whack-a-mole... while laughing insanely! XD)

I've just been looking at the wiki - the sovani images are only of the faces and I don't remember what Wyngale's outfit looks like. Interesting how?

Also, Leucetius and Caedmon are surprisingly similar-looking!

I don't know if "tribal" is the right word to describe his outfit? He's got bangles on his wrist and arms, and although his clothes aren't as complicated as the other sovanis', it's kinda ornate in its own way. I also wonder if any part of his clothes is made of fabric apart from the thing on his shoulders. The things on his legs could be metal, but could be some sort of leather too...

Perhaps? Sometimes it seems like one can hardly see Caedmon's face because of his helmet! I wonder how old Leucetius is. He's supposed to be "young", but what's young by sovani standards...?

Huh. It's like he has another jacket around his lower pair of arms. Sovani tailors must have fun trying to cope with shoulders and hips that close together.

Oh, I'm just basing the resemblance on the wiki pictures--I agree that it's very hard to see Caedmon's face most of the time.

Well, how 'old' is Torgal? I mean, I know he's 200, but is that middle-aged by Sovani standards?

It must just be the camera angle but in the screencap it looks like Wyngales lower arms are directly in front of his crotch whereas usually I think sovani arms are in that space between waist and crotch. >> Shoulder-hip must be extremely weird for sovani woman! If they want to wear anything tight, it'll be tight on the shoulders as well as the hips.

I wish Caedmon wouldn't wear that silly helmet. I want to see what kind of hair he's got! Don't remember what the back of Wyngale's head is like - must check later - but I seem to recall he's bald.

Gotta wonder how old sovanis can get, too. Wyngale must be at least 1000 years old. Maybe they're like cats, who don't "age" proportionally to humans/mitras...

Yeah. He proves that old can still be badass. He seems to blame everything on the Imperator and he could be forgiven for being a bit mad after being made to stand there and not move for all those years, but still, the age probably has a bit to do with that madness...

If Torgal started working for the castle 80 years ago, aged 120, and before that had run the Steel Syndicate for some time... hmmm it's still hard to guess, because there's no way to tell what he'd done before having the Steel Syndicate. But the thought of a young Torgal makes me all giddy. Kitten!Torgal! Dave wants pictures/visistones!

Somehow my feeling is that age 40 is about the ballpark figure for 'young sovani is now of age'. And who knows how old they can get to before becoming crazy if they're not being forced to stand sentry over ancient evils.

(Ohgod kitten!Torgal. And kitten!Allan. All scowly and kittenlike. I really wish I was up to fanart of these things.)

And how old they have to get before they can no longer fight! Wyngale is so very strong at his age. One day, many, many, MANY years later, old!Torgal and old!Allan will sit together talking about their glory days, probably whilst drunk.

(Kitten playfights! Bouncy kittens! Allan's ears being extra bouncy. Maybe they were extra fuzzy when they were younger, too!)

(Do they have tails, though? I guess they could, and it might be a weak point so it's kept under their clothes? Or, they could be like Loveless, where once they "become adults", they lose their tails! *snicker*)

Do Sovani have claws? Somehow I'm enjoying the idea of kitten!torgal careening around after Allan and making the skittering noise that claws-on-floors do.
