Left Book Fair at midnight (yes, our annual Book Fair is open until midnight) and bumped into Dexter and Anselm. Gonna try to meet up with them tomorrow either for dinner or for drinks.

Talking with them made me realise I'm not so weird after all. You know, some people actually aren't seeing anyone and have no life plans as to when they're going to get married and have kids etc etc. People like me. And they know that where I live isn't actually as far as it sounds. Freddy and Y2, on the other hand, are Kowlooners who thought that one needs to take a BOAT to get to my place. Bloody Kowlooners.

Meeting up with [livejournal.com profile] lina_lau on Sunday. Y2 on Monday. Plus a second appointment with the Chinese doctor and the dentist.

Aya registration approved!

This cat looks like Torgal when he is not impressed.

OMG it really does look like Torgal O__O

I don't think it's weird have no plans for stuff like that at all. At all. :)

Also! *checks dates for AyaCon* Should we give Claire or someone a copy of our key so she can feed the mobile? Since we'll both be away that weekend.

Minidave wants it. *_*

Oh, you have no idea. When you get to my age, to some people apparently it's weird to not be (desperately) searching for a husband.

I'll go home after work to feed her and get my bag before travelling, and then be back on Sunday. So if Claire can do that it'll be great, but otherwise if I leave the cat extra amounts of food that should still be okay...

Aaaaaw.

Oh, I know some people think that. I just think it's silly. I guess I don't get to talk, really, being the kid of most groups I'm part of, but hey. XD

Oh okay, so it's not terribly long. :)

It's probably also a cultural thing, plus family pressures etc. But I don't know. >>

Iunno, I mean probably, but there IS a fair amount of that sort of thing over here too. I've run across it a few times. Some parts of my family find it very odd even that I don't have any sort of plan for that stuff, but they're more distant parts and their opinion has been noted and duly ignored. (My immediate family is incredibly low-pressure even compared to the average UK one on this stuff though. As is probably evident...)
