MJ tickets

I've been offered the chance to keep the Michael Jackson concert tickets I ordered instead of a refund. I could keep one, or the pair. The tickets do seem awesome, but that'd be a very expensive memento. =/ Seriously, AEG has lost a lot of money, but to try to recoup some costs this way? They should at least offer a partial refund even if people do want the tickets. After all, they're just getting some bits of paper but not the show they originally paid for! With the amount of tickets having been printed and the number of people who might be getting them, I guess they won't be considered a "limited" item and therefore won't be worth too much later on anyway.

Then again, nobody's holding a gun at my head telling me I have to keep them. Sure, AEG isn't being fair or nice, but they aren't forcing anyone into paying, so I shouldn't complain. I'll just have to decide.

[edit] Lol, I've been bidding on something on YJA. The item's been relisted probably for the third time before I changed my mind and put a bid on it at the lowest value, but just now somebody outbidded me in the last second. I wonder if somebody else really spotted the auction after it's done the round twice already, or if the seller was getting a friend to try to up the final price (though if that's the case bidding last second was daft). Ah well.

Complete refund, or just the ticket.

I feel exactly the same way. I mean, AEG are kinda covering their asses with this, they need to make their money at the end of the day. I think everyone bought MJ tickets because they wanted to see HIM.

A partial refund would be great, but £85 to see a 'tribute' or whatever it is is a bit steep if you ask me :/

Apparently they might release a DVD of his rehearsals. I'd be happy to pay the £85 for ticket + DVD, but just for the ticket itself, that's pretty crappy. =/

Oh really? Yeah, that would be better.

Sigh.

Randomly, I'm listening to Billie Jean on repeat. It's such an amazing song. ;;

Awww it is so amazing. I've had MJ going on most of the morning. Such brilliant music.

The Y!J thing happened to me several times in the past and it's realllly annoying, esp as I've had to put a large deposit so I could bid on the item once I decided to do so seeing it on there several times D:
