For the last two days I've been contemplating the unthinkable - taking out the TLR disc and putting in IU. And maybe even ordering SO4. Of course my TLR craze continues (I finally understand how those FF7 fanatics feel) but there are other games that need to be played, too...

I've changed my mind about the computer. Now going for AMD + ATI Radeon + Vista setup, rather than Intel + GeForce + XP, which means this is sort of system, which comes to around £600 including OS and a decent case. Well, I prefer this actually, £700 with OS and case. It's way overspeced for what I need but hey, future-proofing... wow I actually sound like I'm definitely getting it. £700, Pez, £700!

My brother-in-law lent me Fake Forensic Science 2 by Siu Hak. (This section, about cats, read from earliest post at the bottom, obviously) And now I can say: fuck, a comic book made me cry on the train. And then I got home, buried my face in my cat and took a good sniff. Mmmm~ the smell of cat. It is wonderful. ♥

Today I wait for phonecall. Please no make me go to Ipswich, me no want travel. :(

[edit] I'm going to Istanbul next week! \o/

I'm going to Istanbul next week! \o/

I am seriously jealous right now -3- Have fun! Bring back lots of nice stuff ;)

And about the MJ thing, apparently he's stretched the dates until February 2010! You may have a date on your birthday :D (but it doesn't go as far as mine :( )

Chances are I'll have more luck buying it for then, which I don't mind really as long as I get to see him! sxgljdsjkasgl

If you still have the code from yesterday, you should try it with the new dates, because it's supposed to work! But I don't know if there are still any left now. There were some this morning. XD

Also, Istanbul - I'll have lots of fun and think of you. XDDDD ♥

Owww, I take it you managed to get some then.

I was at uni today so I couldn't get some this morning :(, tried again when I came back from uni, but I had the same problem as yesterday :( *sigh*

Lol, we're in the same boat then. Turns out that my friends are going with their family/friends, they've all got tickets, lucky sods. If you're like me I'm just bidding on any date I can find! :P

V-Vista? You are willingly getting Vista? o_o

It's a scary thought but... yeah. >> It'll be a gaming-only computer so all that matters is that games run well. And DirectX 10 is really a Vista thing. If I do get that, I'll still keep my current desktop for normal computing activities. XD

...well, tbh, Vista isn't that bad if you have lots and lots of RAM available

:D Have you heard They Might Be Giants' Istanbul? It's an awesome song

I don't like its interface as well, though. =/ Ah well if it's only for gaming it's not like I need to deal with the interface a lot!

Ore-sama wants to know if Tez_plus is going to Istanbul with you.

Have just ordered a refurbished Sony to add to my laptop collection, having got so fed up of my noisy breaking-down (but never *shutting* down) base unit, that I wired the keyboard, monitor etc to use with my MSI megabook instead. It's working about as well and is a lot less irritating!

Probably not. He's a very big boy and I want to travel light.

You seem to always be buying laptops!

I imagine the amount of cables and charges and peripherals you must have and feel faint!

Istanbul is such a great place. Very romantic. Views over Bosphorus are breathtaking at dawn. And Grand Bazaar is a mekka for hand-made decorative stuff addicts like myself. So if you or your parents like hand painted ceramics or cushoins/carpets turkish style make sure to visit!
