Although today's only a half day, everyone still left work an hour earlier than they should've, so I followed suit. Had lunch with Liz, went to the delivery office (which is really far away and next to a rollerskate disco, a pin bowling place and a laser tag... place/game park/thing o_o) to collect a package (think this is the one from Hana!), then went to Sainsburys to get the last of the food shopping done...

...and they are out of lemons and have no gluten-free bread.

Home now. Exhausted. Asda closes at 6pm, I believe I'll have to go and try to wrestle some lemons and GF bread before then because I doubt the petrol station would sell the right bread. Once I finish this cup of tea...

Tezmobile would not stop eating the Christmas tree even though it makes her sick. orz

Food shopping is crazy today. Asda Coryton was completely sold out of things like plain flour, bread mix, onions, loose potatoes, most fruit...by 11am this morning, when they were open until 6. Either someone mucked up their delivery schedule, or they had a cunning plan to force early closure. I had more luck picking up basic commodities in the small local store!

Asda was totally out of all fruits that's not apples, pears or banana. The veggie aisle was mostly empty too. There weren't that many people though, I suppose because there isn't much left available to buy!

Luckily the GF aisle hadn't been raided. And the petrol station sold me two (very expensive) lemons.

and wow, you sound so busy! but the end result will be all the better and you will enjoy it even more afte all the stress:

I am sorry, but Tezmobile makes me laugh so hard every time that I read about her. *grins*
and even though she's eating the Christmas tree, be thankul that that's all she does. my grandparents cat used to eat the lead tinsel, which is really toxic for cats. on the other hand, he never got sick and always loved to do just that!

Christmas is pretty insane over here. Not much was left at the supermarket! But I did manage to get the things I needed.
