It's... I don't know, really. They try really hard to make it not taste artificial, but fail quite hard. The noodles are always a bit crunchy even if you leave it to soak for a long time. I can't explain it, but I have known people who have moved back to HK from UK, and request friends to bring them that particular flavour pot noodle whenever they travel home...
