Went to bed earlier than usual last night, but that didn't mean I slept earlier. I spent a lot of time throwing weird ideas at Liz and saying LIZ, WRITE ITTTTT. I think she hates me now. XD

The funny thing was, I kept coming up with these weird, weird settings, and then I got told by Liz, "that's steampunk", "that's dystopian", etc etc. And I'm not sure whether to be pleased that, not having read ANYTHING in those genre, that I came up with something quite similar in nature that a lot of people must've gone "wow that's such an amazing idea!!!" when they read it. Or maybe I should go "damn, I'm not that creative afterall. All these have been done before!"

But it was funny anyway.

Something weird happened on the train today. Someone started chatting with me. He must be about my dad's age. Wore a suit. Sounded nice. We talked about general stuff and he asked me how I find it being Asian and female and working here, stuff like that. He seemed really impressed by the things I said...? And then we got off the train and he gave me his card and said he enjoyed talking with me and it would be great if I give him a ring in the future...........

On the one hand, I am not against random people chatting to each other. You get to meet all sorts of people this way and it promotes communication (esp if you're foreign). But on the other hand.............

Clerk at the hotel in Newham gave me his card and his email address, 'so we could chat later', when I checked out. Thank goodness he didn't ask for mine, 'cause then I would have had to say no. As it was, I was glad he didn't sleaze at me and glad to be out of there. >_>

Oh yeah, that time on the Tube to Heathrow was pretty freaky. Dx I was gonna grab Liz and kick the guy if it looked like he was gonna do anything.

XDDDD It's hard to tell these days, if people just want to make friends or what. Which is kind of sad really. There are just so many creeps and weirdos out there these days, or maybe we've all just got more cautious because of the way the media makes it look like The World Is Dangerous. Maybe some years ago this'd have been pretty normal and people make interesting friends everywhere.

Too true. At the end of the day, I prefer some kind of networking; finding people through common interests and so forth. It feels less random and safer. Not so sure if it really is, but hey. That's been in the news a couple of times. I think this proves that Niou works for NASA. That they have also denied that they've done the tests, doesn't in any way make the evidence weaker.
