Started reading "Speed Tribes", which is interesting but perhaps not extremely accurate (Greenfeld seems to have got his "oyabun" and "kuimichou" mixed up, for starters). It's entertaining nonetheless, and has reminded me of the infamous punch perm. Akaya probably would have got one if his hair wasn't already naturally curly. I can totally see him in am embroidered jacket and wearing a fake Rolex, though. Trying to imagine his first meeting with Sanada is giving funny mental images.

This morning I asked Liz this question: "did [Crescent] use the word 'fuck' more frequently than Gordon Ramsey does on 'The F Word'?" She did not have an answer. XD

(I thought about continuing with the plant theme for the fic title, but Crescent works, methinks. And I hate coming up with titles.)
