The thing about some of these quote-makers, like Monty Python, is that if you spend enough time around nerds and geeks, you'll end up catching some of it by osmosis. You'll realise when words like "shrubbery" and "it" become Significant. Eventually, you might even discover who coined phrases like "pining for the fjords" or "Help, help! I'm being repressed!" or "Hasta la vista, baby". (I think I've seen the Terminator movies, but I couldn't tell you which one that last quote is from. XD; )

It's like a disease, really. One of those really embarrassing ones.

Actually the dead parrot thing I only caught on TV. So far, everything that Liz (and sometimes Sarah) say that may be geek/nerd related have gone straight over my head. I wouldn't know they were quoting something unless they told me so...
