Studiowarp are fuckers. Their books get tackier every time and the photos aren't that great (though I seem to be the only one who thinks so.) But even if this one is prettier than Studiowarp's books, meh, still don't think I'll be getting it.

Naw, Studiowarp is definitely getting tackier. They don't even really have TOPLESS shots, either, which would make things slightly more worth it. Luckily, there's the Men Series...;)

this was really the only reason to even bother buying Kanesaki's SW photobook.

And that's probably the sleaziest pic in any of their books, period. Sadly. If they're gonna make people pay so much, they could at least whore themselves out a bit more. :X

Um, I am not disagreeing with you about the SW stuff. XD I posted a review on my eljay not that long about about how dissatisfied I was with their recent crap.

IE, Genki's 'new' photobook being SMALLER RESIZED PICS from his first one, plus some 'alternate' shots from the first one, and costing the fucking same. Same with Baba's, and the tiny-ass book they put out for Yagami that was nothing but pics from his DVD shoot in a manga-size book, FOR THE SAME SIZE AS A FULLSIZE BOOK.

And how Kanesaki's book is 1/3 nothing but photos he took himself, and it's only 96 pages to START with. And then half the pages that are left are two-page spreads where one page is completely scenery or like, has half his arm on it, and that's it. >_o I picked it up because omsdalfkjasdfsd KANE and I HAD to have it, but definitely not worth the list price.

Oh, when I said I'm the only one to think so, I was more referring to the actual photos, like, I don't like Herbie Yamaguchi's photos. Some of them are okay, some of them I find just plain bad.

I like some of the photos. I think the color ones are really nice, and some of Kane's photos were rather ♥ like the dorky ones and the ones of him lounging with his shirt half-open.

It is a totally different style than the usual 'idol' stuff though. For the cost, it's kind of eeeeeeeeeeh.

A lot of the time I think the only good part about the photos were the model, the actual "artistic" value of the photos were............... (the one with the shirt half-open was... okay. There's Kane-chan to oogle at, but how good is it as a picture, I just don't...........)

fdskfjksldfj I just did a bit more googling and found out why the price. The one being sold on Yahoo Smooch is th 3-book boxset. There are going to be 3 versions of the book, all of them has the same content but a different cover picture. The boxset has all 3 of them.

From other sites, it seems like for ONE book (not sure which cover it will be?), it'll be 2000yen.

You know, I understand marketing and all, but this whole 'OH THERE ARE THREE VERSIONS OF EVERYTHING' bullshit Japan pulls so often is starting to annoy me.

I really love Kato Kazuki's music and I tend to end up buying it when it comes out, but it's really shitty to keep milking stuff so hard when there's SO MUCH to buy. Kimeru's gotten in the habit of the asdflkjasdlfkjsd 32489073234 different versions of crap, too. And it isn't like the stuff is goddamn cheap, either.

When there is major different content, it's not that big a deal, but when there's just ONE different track on a CD or a different cover on a book it's like... sadflkjasdf.
